Goals and Purpose:
This website will seek to demonstrate various uses and
implementations of HTML, XHTML, Flash, and photo content. Other
content will be included as necessary. The site will be used to
provide ways to widen the customer base of AccuSpect Home
Inspection services and find ways to better meet their needs.
Audience:
The bulk of the target audience for
http://wwww.accuspecthome.com is intended to be those that are
seeking inspections of their homes – either for appraisal
purposes or for placing the home on the market or for buying it.
Design Requirements:
- This website will use a very block-driven format. It will
be very clean and feature few deviations from the standard
block approach appearing on the home page. Font styles are
intended to be very basic – with most styles being related
to the Arial or Times New Roman typefaces. Coloration is
intended to be similar to the content provided in the
photographs by the customer.
- Photograph usage is yet to be determined by the customer.
Delivery Requirements:
Because the site will be annotated in strict XHTML, it should
correctly appear in:
- Firefox 2.0 or higher
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
- Safari 2.0
The author’s wish is that Firefox is the predominantly used
browser on the site, and there is absolutely no intention to
make the site compliant with the AOL browser in any form. Such
compliance will occur merely by chance and not by design.Standard operating systems including Windows XP or higher or
Macintosh OX10.x or later should suffice for use of the website.
The site will require at least the following plug-ins:
- Flash Player 7.0 or above
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or above
Content:
- Home page – giving an introduction to the site, a business
motto, a basic synopsis of the business, and other content
as recommended by the customer
- Services page – a page dedicated to describing the services
provided by the customer and a brief synopsis of each
- Pricing page – a subpage of the services page – maybe even
only a JS popup to provide prices
- Coverage page – a map showing where this customer performs
his services
- FAQ’s – what questions the customer receives the most
- Contact page – a page for potential business clients to go
to fill out a brief form for inquiries
